Fundraising

All proceeds from the event will be re-invested in the maintenance and development of the Community & Sports Centre as follows:

• Current projects which include a biodiversity project and re-irrigation project in the grounds of the Centre. Leader funding has been granted for 75% of this work, with the balance to be raised through our efforts.
• Future projects to ensure the Centre can continue to serve both the local community and seasonal visitors, providing a modern, safe environment. Proposed work includes remedial works on the building’s roof and windows.
• General upkeep of the Centre including maintenance and upgrade of existing facilities; we plan to develop the Centre’s existing basic kitchen facilities in order to expand the range and level of service we can offer.
• Costs involved in the everyday running of the Centre following the losses incurred during recent periods of lockdown or limited opening.
